Our Partnerships in Action.

Paptic is a recyclable, reusable and biodegradable next-generation packaging material made from renewable raw materials. Established in 2015 and originating from research conducted at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Paptic’s material innovation is supported by a growing portfolio of patented technologies and production methods. Paptic has raised over €40M since its launch and has been named in 2024 for the second consecutive year in a row in Deloitte Finland’s Fast 50 list which ranks the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Finland, and in the Global Cleantech 100 that lists most innovative and promising companies in the sustainable technology sector. The company is based in Finland. www.paptic.com.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING INNOVATION → STRATEGIC GROWTH & EMBEDDED COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIP.

Paptic, a Finnish pioneer in bio-based packaging materials, has been one of bridge2market’s most integrated and long-standing partnerships. Rather than supporting a single expansion initiative, we have worked as part of Paptic’s core commercial team, contributing directly to the company’s overall growth journey. Our involvement has spanned the full strategic and operational spectrum: we played a central role in the strategy process, helped refine segmentation and targeting, and supported the evolution of the go-to-market approach across multiple applications and customer groups. We have directed commercial projects that connect market insight with product development and optimisation, ensuring that material innovation aligns with real customer needs and sustainability expectations. Working closely with both the leadership and technical teams, we have helped strengthen Paptic’s position within complex global value chains — engaging converters, brands and retailers to build the ecosystem required for wider adoption. This hands-on, long-term collaboration has supported Paptic through successive stages of growth, enhancing strategic focus, commercial maturity and the company’s ability to scale next-generation sustainable materials globally.

Coctio designs and manufactures processing equipment enabling the production of new value-adding products from the meat and fish bone waste of the food processing industry. The company continues the legacy of its founder’s earlier Puljonki success story — an innovation later acquired by Nestlé — bringing decades of expertise in bone-broth and sauce production into a new generation of industrial solutions. www.coctio.com.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING & PROCESS TECHNOLOGY → EARLY-STAGE GROWTH, MARKET ENTRY & COMMERCIAL ENABLEMENT.

Coctio, a Finnish engineering company specialising in advanced food-processing technology, partnered with bridge2market from its early commercial stages. Over the years, we have worked as an embedded part of the company’s growth journey, supporting both strategic direction and hands-on market development. Our involvement has covered the full go-to-market spectrum: from early customer validation and opportunity mapping to the refinement of value propositions, channel strategies and market-entry pathways. Working closely with the founders and leadership team, we have supported commercial negotiations, strengthened partner engagement and helped navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, including deal processes valued at over €1 million. Beyond market-facing work, we have contributed to the development of internal commercial capabilities by coordinating key growth projects and helping the company align product, process and customer requirements. This long-term, hybrid partnership has supported Coctio through multiple phases of evolution, enhancing strategic clarity, commercial readiness and the company’s ability to expand its presence in international markets with a highly specialised industrial solution.

Kasanova is the leading home accessory retail group in Italy with 6 store concepts and 700+ stores. Kasanova is now part of the OVS Group listed on the Milan stock exchange. OVS has 2200 stores and recorded net sales of €1.6B in 2024. www.kasanova.com.

RETAIL ECOSYSTEMS → CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT, MARKET EXPANSION & STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS BENEFITING INDUSTRIAL INNOVATION.

Our retail ecosystem work spans multiple collaborations with leading retailers and retail groups across Italy and Europe — including, but not limited to, Kasanova. These partnerships have given bridge2market deep, hands-on exposure to retail operations, concept development and market expansion, both locally and internationally.

Working closely with company management teams, we have supported the evaluation and development of new retail concepts, assessed market suitability across regions, and contributed to the refinement of category strategies and value propositions. Our involvement has extended into strengthening commercial performance, enabling growth in new markets, and building strategic partnerships with major retail groups across both food and non-food segments.

This experience has shaped a robust understanding of downstream behaviour — from consumer expectations and product performance requirements to channel dynamics, operational constraints and sustainability pressures. For industrial and technology-driven clients, this downstream insight is highly valuable: it helps align product development with market needs, informs segmentation and positioning decisions, and strengthens the design of go-to-market pathways, partnerships and global value-chain strategies.

Rather than representing a separate vertical, our retail ecosystem work enhances our ability to support industrial companies with sharper market intelligence, cross-industry understanding and more relevant commercial execution.
